Bacon Popper Biscuits


Bacon Popper Biscuits
Ingredients :
1 (8-count) can of Pillsbury Flaky Grand’s Biscuits
1 pound bacon, each slice cut in half
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8-ounce) container of cream cheese
1/3 cup fresh jalapenos
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying (I used Canola)
Directions :
Frying Instructions
Gather your ingredients and preheat your oil for deep-frying.
Seed and chop the jalapenos.
In a medium bowl mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped jalapeños and salt and pepper until well combined.
Pop open the biscuits and cut each one into fourths.
Roll out each piece of dough into a small disk and place a teaspoon of cheese and jalapeno filling into the center.
Seal it up tightly, making sure that the seam is completely closed. Wrap the stuffed dough ball with a half strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Deep fry until bacon is crispy. Allow to cool slightly and enjoy while still melty.
Baking Instructions
Pre heat the oven to 350
Pre cook your Bacon about 1/4 of the way done. (so the Bacon Crisps up nicely)
Follow steps 2-6 from above
Bake for 12-15 minutes
Serve and enjoy!
