Indian fry bread recipe
* the ingredients :
° 2 cups flour for all purposes
° 1.5 teaspoons sugar
° 0.5 teaspoon salt
° 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
° 2 pinches baking soda
° 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
° Half a cup full-fat yogurt
° 3-4 tablespoons milk

In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt, baking powder and baking soda. Adding 3 to 4 tsp of warm water.
Add oil and yogurt to this mixture and start kneading it using your hands or an electric mixer. As you knead, keep adding the milk a little, not all at once. If you are kneading with your hands this will take about 10 minutes and if you are using an electric mixer, it will be done in 5 minutes.
Apply a little oil to the dough, cover it with a damp cloth, and keep it in a warm place for at least 45 minutes. After about 45 minutes, divide the dough into 8 equal parts and rub it into small balls.

Meanwhile, heat enough oil for frying in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. If you want to check the heat, you can drop a small piece of dough into the oil and if it rises right on top, the oil is hot enough.
Using a massager, start rolling out the split dough balls into round bread. It will turn out to be about 8 to 10 cm in diameter.
Start deep frying the bread. Continue to gently press the top of the bread with the spoon, allowing the bread to rise easily. Turn them over and do the same until they are a light brown color and transfer the fried bread onto a towel plate lined with an absorbent layer to absorb the excess oil.
