Shrimp & grits with turkey sausage
1-2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lb turkey sausage, sliced then cut into fours
1 cup enriched quick grits
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 10oz bag Pictsweet seasoning blend (chopped onions, celery and bell peppers)
3 cups chicken broth
2 cups whole milk
4 tbs unsalted butter
1 cup green onions, chopped
Creole seasoning of your choice
3 tbs olive oil
1 tbs garlic powder
2 tsp Tabasco (optional)
