This weekend I will be making Baron Broussard’s legendary biscuits

Hello. My name is Baron Broussard. I’m a retired Executive Chef from New Orleans. I now live in Northern Minnesota. Hope you guys enjoy this first of many videos to come.
Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits
6 cups All purpose flour
1 lb butter frozen
5 1/2 tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 2/3 cup buttermilk.

Combine all dry ingredients.
Mix in your butter with a pastry cutter and combine well. Make a hole in the center and add buttermilk. Mix until well incorporated. Mix will be dry. Roll out onto a floured surface. Nead and fold at least 4 times. This gives you layers. Roll out and cut. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Take your beaten egg and brush all biscuits. Bake at 400° for 18 min. Turn pan halfway through baking. When done, brush with melted butter. Enjoy.
